Llys-y-Fran Lake
Heading West, and looking for a new location to Stand Up Paddle (SUP)?
Then do read on...
History
Llys-y-Fran opened to serve clean water to homes and businesses in South Pembrokeshire back in 1972. The reservoir covers over 200 acres, so finding a quiet place to paddle and get lost within the surroundings is certainly possible. The water is clean and deep, and you don't have to worry about the tides or swells while Paddling at this location - perfect for beginners.
Sheltered Water
The venue boasts a sheltered water environment, and the good news this site is managed by professionals who have your safety in mind - they will close the site if the wind is blowing a hoolie.
The venue is perfectly set for SUP beginners/novices, and you'll have the option to hire kit, book a lesson or self launch while onsite.
